Macintosh Software Set (runs on OS X-based Apple computers)
This will download a file named receiverconfig.cr. Open this file to automatically configure Receiver/Workspace and select Agree or Add. Enter GT Email Address (gburdell3@gatech.edu) and Password; Click Log On. Below we expand on how to Manually Configure Receiver/Workspace. Open Citrix Receiver or Citrix Workspace and Add Account.
- Download the VMware Client: vlab2.lsu.edu. Click Install VMware Horizon Client. Find the section labeled: VMware Horizon Client for Mac and select the Go to Downloads link. Find The VMware Horizon Client for Mac product and Click the Download button. Go to the Downloads folder and open the VMware Horizon Client.dmg file.
- The Citrix Receiver is free to download and install. The vLab features the same applications on computers at the Miller Learning Center. Those applications include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Access), and statistical software (SPSS, Stata) tools for writing and research (EndNote) along with several other packages.
